Making a reservation with us is very different than making a reservation in a hotel in a major city or other destination, so it is very important to understand this policy when making reservations. Please consider your reservation as final when it is made. A 50% deposit of your entire stay (minimum 1 night) is taken at the time the reservation is made.

(Memorial Day to Labor Day) Cancellations or shortened stays will require at least 21 days notice prior to the arrival date in order to avoid full forfeiture of your deposit. At all other times we require 7 days notice.  As is common in resort locations, there are no refunds for shortened stays.  A cancellation fee of $75.00 + tax will be assessed for all cancellations.   If you have any concerns about our cancellation policy we strongly recommend taking out
trip insurance

Spa Questions

Spa reservations may be made on line or by calling 508-487-6767 Ext 525.
Guests are encouraged to schedule treatments well in advance.

Come comfortable. A robe and slippers will be provided when you arrive at the spa or you can wear your robe from your room. Bring a bathing suite if you wish to use the communal bath areas.

Plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow yourself time to check-in before your treatment.

Because your appointments are reserved specifically for you, we require that you notify us 48 hours in advance should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations or changes with less than 48-hours notice will be charged 100% of the service. All no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.

All treatments are provided by male and female licensed, professional therapists. If you have a gender preference, please make that request when you schedule your appointment.

All of the products used in our treatments are available in the Spa to purchase so you can continue to enjoy your new treatment regimen at home.

While Queen Elizabeth had no troubles when she was here, we suggest you leave these personal items in your guest room or at home.

A discussion with our Spa reception staff can often help you decide between specific massages, depending on whether your goals are simple relaxation or tension relief. For a comprehensive program of treatments, our Spa Director would be pleased to help you plan a program to suit you. We invite you to call for an appointment.

You may have as many treatments as you have time for. Our Spa Director will suggest the best order for your treatments to achive optimum results.

It is critical we know if you have high blood pressure, allergies, other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant, please be sure to notify our Spa Director or receptionist before booking your treatments. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. We recommend that you do not consume alcohol during or immediately before or after your spa treatments.

Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing. For the soaking tub and other unisex relaxation areas we request that you wear appropriate swimwear.

Both sauna and steam are beneficial before or after all spa treatments, but should always be used in moderation. These rooms should NEVER be used in combination with alcohol. The sauna is dry heat that warms your muscles and begins the relaxation process. We recommend no more than 12 to 15 minutes at a time. The steam room is wet heat that is effective in opening pores and is wonderful for the respiratory system. We recommend no more than 5 to 6 minutes at a time.

We recommend that men shave a few hours before their facial appointments, rather than just before.

Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed. Full payment for services is required regardless of tardiness.

The Shui Spa is also available for evening private events and parties.  Spa parties would take place from 9pm to 11pm; feature spa-tini’s (like martini’s) as well as massage therapists providing neck and back massage. The party area would include all the indoor and outdoor meditation gardens, steam room, sauna area and mineral soaking tub.  It’s a fabulous new age way of celebrating a special occasion! Inquire at revive@shuispa.com for more information or contact 508-487-6767 Ext 525.

The Spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect the quiet and privacy of other spa guests by speaking softly or simply enjoying the silence. Newspapers and cell phones are not allowed at any time. No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the spa at any time.
