In Provincetown our streets are very narrow and quaint. When you are here you will not need your car to get around town. Our location puts you right in the center of town and in walking distance to virtually everything.

Driving Directions to Crowne Pointe Historic Inn

Driving time from Boston is about 2 hours. From New York City approx. 5 hours.
From Boston & Points North (120 miles to Provincetown; approximately 2 hours):

Proceed South on I-93 to Route 3 South.
Route 3 leads directly onto Sagamore Bridge.
Follow directions (below) from Sagamore Bridge.

From New York City & Points West (290 miles to Provincetown; approximately 5hours):

Proceed North on I-95 to Providence, Rhode Island.
Proceed on I-195 East for approximately 44 miles to Exit 22A: Route 25 East (Cape Cod).
Proceed on Route 25 East for approximately 9 miles to Exit 2: Route 6 East (Provincetown). Enter rotary.
Proceed approximately 3/4 circle around rotary to exit marked Route 6 East (Provincetown).
Proceed approximately 3 miles along Cape Cod Canal until you reach the Sagamore Bridge, exiting onto Route 6 East.
Follow directions (below) from Sagamore Bridge.

From Sagamore Bridge:

Proceed over Cape Cod Canal on Sagamore Bridge. This is Route 6 East.
Proceed on Route 6 East approximately 63 miles to Provincetown. (Please note: after the Orleans rotary we recommend careful observation of speed limits as the towns of Eastham, Wellfleet, and Truro are known for their well-monitored speed zones.)
Turn left at second Provincetown exit. It is the only one with a light. That is Conwell Street. Make a left onto Conwell Street and follow that all the way to Bradford Street.
At end of Conwell make a right onto Bradford and take Bradford approx a mile and you will head up the hill and pass the Pilgrim Monument on your right. As you are coming up the hill you will see Crowne Pointe at the top. We are number 82 Bradford Street and will be right in front of you. Pull into the parking lot in front and come directly into reception. After we get you checked in the car can be moved to our remote lot.

By Air

Most of the major airlines fly into Boston's Logan Airport. Once at Logan you can either drive, fly via Cape Air, high speed ferry or motor coach. Here are some helpful links.

One of our favorite ways to P-town is to fly on Cape Air (800-352-0714). Joint fares are available from many cities, with easy connections in Boston, particularly from U.S. Air and Continental. The Cessna flight takes 20 minutes and offers great views, especially at sunset.

Private Aircraft

Provincetown Municipal Airport features two 3,500 foot runways and will accommodate private planes and private jets. The airport has ILS (instrument landing system), HIRL (high intensity runway lighting) and 2 approaches.
