A Day at Crowne Pointe Inn

The day starts early for Our Chef's here at Crowne Pointe. Before the first rays of dawn touch down on Provincetown Harbor, we can typically be found setting up fresh-brewed coffee for our early bird guests. Our guests are a diverse lot-there's no telling what time in the morning they'll want to saunter down to the kitchen area-and so ample time is allowed for taking advantage of our delicious hot gourmet breakfast: served daily between 8 am and 11 am. In addition to a variety of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and juice, we also offer scrumptious fresh-baked muffins and breads, French Toast, pancakes, and various hot egg specialties. Our guests may choose to dine in doors in one of our two romantic dining areas, or in our parlor beside the fireplace, or even outside on our spacious wrap-around front porch.

In an age of quick-and-easy, Crowne Pointe takes us back to a time when we simply did everything the old fashion way; using the best and freshest ingredients, mixing them with plenty of love, and taking our time to produce delicious signature breakfasts and desserts and of course our Gourmet Evening Dinner Service. Guests often request to lick the bowl as we prepare our treats in our open kitchen. Our cooks carefully check over all the food deliveries and have been known to send whole orders back if they do not meet their standards of freshness. Our evening Bistro Menu features only the freshest local sea foods and the finest quality beef, poultry and vegetarian dishes. Crowne Pointe is located in the very heart of P-town, so you can walk to everything, if you choose. You can also ride the trolley or drive a car, or-a guest favorite-explore our quaint town on a rented bicycle. We are also less than a five minute walk to Provincetown's famous T dances and night clubs. After days of strolling the beach, hiking the dunes, sailing the harbor, and perusing the myriad novelty shops on Commercial Street, you may want enjoy a quiet day relaxing with us here at Crowne Pointe. Grab a beach towel at the front desk and take in the sun in one of our garden patios, or lounge with your travel companions in one of our two built-in heated spas or heated pool. Savor an iced tea or cold lemonade, while taking in a spectacular view of the Provincetown Monument.

Our on-site Shui Spa offers guests a tranquil, intimate environment featuring full service treatment rooms with innovative products and a full menu of services offered by both male and female licensed therapists. At the center of the spa is a therapy tub set in a relaxing understated meditative environment. The space is intimate and unisex and the facilities include a lounge area, as well as a sauna and steam room. (Proper bathing attire is required so please pack accordingly) The spa also features a finishing area for manicures and pedicures as well as a retail area for you to take your spa experience home with you. The spa is a "must see", it is accessed via a bridge over a 4,000 gallon koi pond. Relax, treat yourself to a day or two… You may never want to leave.

In mid to late afternoon, we serve tea, gourmet coffee, and fresh-baked cookies, cakes and sinfully sweet treats until 5pm. This is an excellent time to review our evening Dinner Menu as well as the book of menus for all the local restaurants. We'll gladly assist you with your dinner reservations at our Bistro, arrange for a romantic dinner served to you in your room, or give our recommendations and make reservations at other restaurants for you (your choices range from the finest in Cape Cod cuisine, to Provincetown's own unique Portuguese-inspired fare). Perhaps our afternoon snacks for that extra boost of energy, particularly if you're on your way to one of P-town's famous Tea Dances. Or you may want to use this time for a "disco nap" in your room, to prepare for a fantastic night out dancing at one of the local hot spots. In your room you will also find a mini bar stocked with treats, spirits and beverage so you are never left unsatisfied.

In the late afternoon to early evening, we host complimentary wine and cheese socials from 5-6pm in our Club Room. Come down to the parlor and enjoy a glass of red and white wines and cheeses, along with crackers and snacks-just the thing to whet your appetite for dinner. You may also choose to partake in our full menu of spirits, wines and champagnes available from the lobby bar. Its a wonderful time to socialize or just grab a seat by the fireplace and enjoy your favorite beverage.

Finally, we'll pamper you during your delicious, romantic dinner at our restaurant acccompanied by a bottle of Veuve Clicquot , Dom Perignon, or Louis Roederer Cristal, whatever your tastes may be we'd be happy to be of service to you. Then you're off to play your unique part in the vibrant nightlife of our town before retiring to your romantic guestroom... The Crowne Pointe Family is always here and proud to be your hosts…
