How do I make my reservations for spa treatments?
Spa reservations may be made on online or by calling 508-487-6767 Ext 525. Guests are encouraged to schedule treatments well in advance.
What should I wear to the spa?
Come comfortable. A robe and slippers will be provided when you arrive at the spa or you can wear your robe from your room. Bring a bathing suit if you wish to use the communal bath areas.
When should I arrive for my visit?
Plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow yourself time to check-in before your treatment.
What is the Shui Spa cancellation policy?
Because your appointments are reserved specifically for you, we require that you notify us 48 hours in advance should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations or changes with less than 48-hours notice will be charged 100% of the service. All no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
Who will be performing my spa treatment?
All treatments are provided by male and female licensed, professional therapists. If you have a gender preference, please make that request when you schedule your appointment.
Are the products used in the Spa treatments available to purchase?
All of the products used in our treatments are available in the Spa to purchase so you can continue to enjoy your new treatment regimen at home.
What about my jewelry and valuables?
While Queen Elizabeth had no troubles when she was here, we suggest you leave these personal items in your guest room or at home.
Can someone help me decide on the best treatments or therapies?
A discussion with our Spa reception staff can often help you decide between specific massages, depending on whether your goals are simple relaxation or tension relief. For a comprehensive program of treatments, our Spa Director would be pleased to help you plan a program to suit you. We invite you to call for an appointment.
Is there a limit to the number of treatments I should plan in a day?
You may have as many treatments as you have time for. Our Spa Director will suggest the best order for your treatments to achive optimum results.
What if I have special health considerations?
It is critical we know if you have high blood pressure, allergies, other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant, please be sure to notify our Spa Director or receptionist before booking your treatments. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. We recommend that you do not consume alcohol during or immediately before or after your spa treatments.
What do I wear during my treatments?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing. For the soaking tub and other unisex relaxation areas we request that you wear appropriate swimwear.
How long should I stay in the sauna or steam room?
Both sauna and steam are beneficial before or after all spa treatments, but should always be used in moderation. These rooms should NEVER be used in combination with alcohol. The sauna is dry heat that warms your muscles and begins the relaxation process. We recommend no more than 12 to 15 minutes at a time. The steam room is wet heat that is effective in opening pores and is wonderful for the respiratory system. We recommend no more than 5 to 6 minutes at a time.
Should men shave before their facial treatments?
We recommend that men shave a few hours before their facial appointments, rather than just before.
What if I'm late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed. Full payment for services is required regardless of tardiness. we have a 24 hour cancellation policy
Spa Etiquette
The Spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect the quiet and privacy of other spa guests by speaking softly or simply enjoying the silence. Newspapers and cell phones are not allowed at any time. No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the spa at any time.
