What can be more stunning than the breathtaking views at a secluded beach? Enjoy the spectacular views as you hop on the flat boulders on the jetty. Get mesmerized by the tides that come and go, the dreamy marshes on one side, and the beautiful views of the ocean. Summers are the best time to catch some rays and relax at the secluded beach.
With its golden sands and picturesque lighthouse, Long Point Beach is Provincetown's most remote stretch of coastline. Perched on the very tip of Cape Cod, this breathtaking and peaceful beach is the perfect spot for a day of sunning, swimming, picnics, and sightseeing.
Part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, Long Point also features a trail that leads to the Long Point Lighthouse. The only way to access the beach is on foot or by boat from Flyer's Boat Rental at MacMillan Pier, so it is less crowded than other Provincetown beaches and a favorite spot for locals.
